Administrative Assistant, Development

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada

Responsible for assisting and providing administrative support to the Land Development and Development team with all aspects of various projects. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide general administrative duties for the Development group
  • Attend development meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes
  • Maintain permit status logs
  • Maintain project RFI log
  • Maintain project submittal logs
  • Maintain claim logs
  • Maintain project extra work summary
  • Prepare contracts (printing, binding, couriering, etc)
  • Maintain share drive structure
  • Update and manage emails
  • Other duties as required 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in development, construction, or administration
  • Experience with Timber Scan software is an asset
  • Strong technical skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to handle a heavy workload, multitask and prioritize
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
